Mobile Software Developer - (2 positions)
Software development for TestQuest’s test automation connectivity solutions for JAVA, Brew, WinCE, PocketPC, Smartphone, Embedded Linux, Symbian S60, Symbian UIQ, Palm OS and other Mobile Operating Systems. The position requires software development on embedded devices (mobile phones, PDAs, etc.), test interface device drivers components (Spirent UTS) and Windows XP as part of the complete connectivity solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform software development for TestQuest’s connectivity components, including embedded system (J2MEand BREW) and PC application development.
Interfacing with Technical Support on customer and internal product issues. Direct communication with the customer may be required.
Documenting code developed
Functional and Unit testing of code developed
Participate with engineering in planning and recommending software coding approaches
Minimum Education, Experience and Other Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Minimum of 2-3 years design and development experience in embedded systems and Microsoft environments.
Experience in J2ME, BREW for WinCE, Windows Mobile or Embedded Linux including communication interfaces/protocols.
Strong knowledge and experience with C++ or JAVA/J2ME
Desirable Background, Personal Attributes, or Specific Skills
Experience in writing Microsoft COM object |
