Nature of duties:
Ø Conduct site surveys.

Project work
Title : GPS Augmentation Using Pseudolites For Aircraft Landing
and Missile Guidance.
Languages Used : C & Matlab
Description : This project work was aimed at augmenting the existing Global Positioning System (a system of 24 satellites revolving around the earth, developed by the US’ Department of Defence for its use as a positioning and navigation tool across the globe) by providing land – based and space – based satellite like structures called pseudolites. The work was divided into five modules, each dealing with a specific part of the project like study of GPS system, Augmentation systems, Pseudolite description, case studies for aircraft landing and missile guidance.
Project Role : My responsibilities & role in this project included the study of the base GPS system, carrying out mathematical analysis on Dilution of Precision (DOP), a parameter of central importance in the project and setting & studying the effects of different geometries on the DOP value, which formed the core part of the project work.

Ø Intermediate (M.P.C) from Board of Intermediate with a percentage of 78.3 in 2001.
