1. OMA based SUPL server Architecture and Design. UMTS Next Generation Server Design
Work involves Design and implementation of features on SUPL server. End to End system architecture and product development using OMA protocols. Velocity feature implementation on SUPL server and compliance on the device and Location client using MLP protocol. Capacity and Throughput/TPS calculations on the SUPL server for pet and auto finder applications. UMTS Next Generation Location platform using hybrid methodology of A-GPS, U-TDOA and RTT with Cell ID
2. UMTS location services and Protocols in 3G Cellular Networks
Work involves contributions to Requirements, System Specification as per 3GPP and OMA standards, Design, Development, Lab testing, Field Trial at T-Mobile Engineering Division for developing A-GPS (Wireless Assisted GPS) protocol for UMTS (Universal Mobile Terrestrial System) Radio Access Network (RAN). Design and Development of New location technologies based on 3GPP and OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) standards. Design specifications and Development of A-GPS protocol for E911 services. Feasibility study of A-GPS based on Control Plane and User Plane (SUPL) architectures. Traffic evaluation and Performance Modeling of A-GPS.
