- [Oct,2000 - Till Date] : Currently working as a Software Developer in GSM-OMC Current Engineering project. This project involves working on the Customer’s requests to modify the code to enhance the features of OMC or to modify the code to remove detected bugs.

A) My working module is COMM which is the communicating entity between the OMC and BSS.Its based on standard TMN framework and implemented using GDMO and ASN.1 standard interfaces on the BSS side and C++ objects on the OMC side.

B) Currently,I am working in a 3G Feature to be
added to our GSM-OMC offering called "Broadcasting of UTRAN cell info" which enables a GSM/UMTS compatible mobile in a hybrid GSM/UMTS network and in a GSM cell to reselect into a UMTS cell in idle state, based on the UMTS parameters broadcasted to it.I am responsible for Requirements till Feature Testing part of my module in this feature.

C)I was involved with a feature called "New Transport Mechanism for Performance Measurements".This feature provides for a different strategy to transport, Performance related measurements in the form of files transferred using FTAM instead of events. I have went through the whole of software engineering cycle,ie.design, implementation and testing for this feature and its been running successfully.

- [Sep,2000 - Oct,2000] : Learned about the whole of OMC system,TMN architecture,GDMO,ASN.1, CMIP/CMISE and SNMP standards. Involved in the study of CORBA Bridge functionality used in our OMC project to make GUI applications independent of the OMC’ underlying structure which is OSP based.
