Job Description
Technical Support for MSC Server & Media Gateway implementation during project & care phase and others NSS Network Elements (MSCi, HLRi, SRRi, NEMU) :
Independent commissioning of NSS Network Elements described above
Independent integration of NSS NW elements ( Experience in commissioning, integration (MSC-BSC, MSC-HLR, MSC/HLR-SGSN, MSC-PSTN, MSC-OSS, MSC-SCP, MSC-BC), software upgrade
Independent Acceptance Tests using proper tools & instruments
Care Activities: SW upgrades, CD/CN installations, Emergency support (24x7), troubleshooting of helpdesk cases
Independent HW extension of NSS Network Elements
Coaching of Nokia personal
Competence
SKILLS , KNOWLEDGE & Experience
Atleast 4 years experience with Nokia Circuit Switched Network Elements Any technical field experience (commissioning, integration, acceptance testing, troubleshooting, on site support, etc) related to MSC Server Release 99 or Release 4 and Media Gateway (U Releases)
Experience in commissioning, integration (MSC-BSC, MSC-HLR, MSC/HLR-SGSN, MSC-PSTN, MSC-OSS, MSC-SCP, MSC-BC), software upgrade, remote and on-site technical support to customers
Extensive practical experience and knowledge of standards & tools for monitoring interfaces with Circuit Core NEs (ISUP/SS7, MF/R2, BSSAP, CAMEL, MAP, Gs, Gr, Ls)
Solid understanding of TCP/IP and ATM network principles (CISCO certification is added advantage)
Level 4-5 knowledge of Nokia DX200 software environment & features (M11 and M12)
Level 4-5 knowledge of Nokia DX200 hardware environment
Attended trainings like SYSTRA, DXOM, NSSOM, NSSROU, NSSSIG, NSSTSH, Disaster Recovery, NSSCC, MGW& MSS trainings, 3G
Understanding & experience with HIT Tool and building HIT Macros (knowing visual basic is added advantage)

EDUCATION
