Senior Developer - Java
My client is the leading provider of mobile applications and content management solutions for consumer-facing enterprises is looking for an enthusiastic and talented software developer to fill a multi-facetted full-time position in our midtown office. The position is for a creative individual with solid experience in web development in Java. Experience in some wireless/mobile client-side technologies (WAP, J2ME, BREW or Symbian) is also a requirement.
Responsibilities Include:
• Programming high quality re-usable components for new mLogic product features.
• Developing Wireless Content Applications in J2ME or BREW.
• Heading a small team developing Wireless Services using mLogic.
• Attention to detail and proactively assuring application usability and quality.
• Follow through with individual and extended team-related tasks by monitoring their status through to completion.
Requirements:
• database design skills with experience on various RDBMS systems.
• java web development skills with extensive JSP, XML experience.
• J2ME, BREW, Symbian and/or PocketPC programming skills.
• Extensive knowledge of internet network protocols.
• Professional wireless industry experience
• Many years of professional programming experience
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
