I have a client that is looking for a SIM Engineer in the Herndon, VA area. This client is a global provider of mobile communications solutions for government and commercial organizations. They deliver a full suite of mobile communication security and monitoring solutions designed and implemented for their customer individual needs. Listed below is the position and requirements. SIM ENGINEER
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Subscriber Identity Module (SIM)-based technologies encompassing SIM capabilities (includes Over-the-Air), SIM architecture /design/security/standards, SIM application development, SIM and GSM network communications (understanding of system interactions) and SIM/Mobile Operating Environment interaction
• Strong knowledge of GSM communications (security, architecture, system design, components), standards, availability, capabilities and limitations
• Familiarity with current wireless handset/ PDA availability, capabilities, and limitations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work individually with minimal direction as well as with a larger development team
• Exceptional problem solving skills, specifically related to wireless communications, application development, and wireless security
• Self-starter, energetic, innovative, creative in order to thrive in a start-up, dynamic environment
• Clearable (U.S. Citizen)
• Mobile application development on a variety of mobile operating environments
• OTA mobile application downloading experience
• Multi-platform mobile device security expertise |
