· accomplish global e-commerce strategic planning, telecommunication strategic design, and business process re-engineering
· align corporate ERP technology deployment strategy with long-range business plan
· provide technical vision and strategic direction for software development, process management, and overall technology direction
· design and manage all information service functions, including all data centers, technical service centers, production scheduling, help desk, communication networks (voice and data), software development and system operations
· establish strategic relationships with IT vendors develop a technology infrastructure that supports distribution and allocation needs for an expanding business
· establish processes and technologies to rapidly and smoothly facilitate the integration of a newly created or acquired plant
· guide growth of the underlying infrastructure, technologies, and applications - both now and in the future - required to fully support both strategic and tactical plans
· negotiate large contractual agreements with vendors including detailed SLA's (service level agreements) with various outsourcing firms to complement in-house IT services
· create and manage IT/MIS detailed project budgets and provide quarterly forecasting
· implement strategic direction of all information processing equipment, software acquisition, information storage and retrieval
· standardize common information systems and infrastructure including enterprise systems, desktop systems, and communications infrastructure
· direct global systems team with multiple application system platforms.
· develop procedures for large-scale network traffic reporting according to international contractual obligations
· execute the installation of corporate LAN and WAN, perform LAN/WAN capacity planning and ongoing system tuning
· negotiate with hardware and software vendors for the purchase of all software and hardware
· conduct needs surveys as well as address compatibility issues
· develop and implement computer security policies and procedures |
