Qualifications: Marulu is a start-up software development company based in São Paulo, Brazil with focus on the wireless telecommunication market. Marulu was founded in December, 2002 by its current owner Rubens S. Gomes.

Mr. Rubens S. Gomes is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with concentration in telecommunications systems engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Mr. Gomes has over eight years of professional telecommunications software development experience in the United States and Brazil. Mr. Gomes was involved in the software development of large-scale telecommunications EMS/NMS (element & network management systems) for data-packet ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) and Frame Relay networks at Sprint Corporation and Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. Mr. Gomes participated in the development of Sprint's Frame Relay Customer Network Management SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) agent, and Sprint's MAPS (Multi-Vendor ATM Provisioning System). At Fujitsu, Mr. Gomes participated in the development of Fujitsu's FETEX-150 core ATM swith EMS system.
