o Job Description : This position is to deliver the V15 Software upgrade to customer in service network nodes nationwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking an active role in upgrading OMC-R, BSC, TCU, PCUSN and BTS from V14 to V15 software.
2+ yrs experience in the following:
·Demonstrated skills in system administration of UNIX servers including E4500 and SFV880, workstations to include Sun Sunblade and Ultra5.
·A complete understanding of TCP/IP, GSM operation and Nortel solutions.
o Special Instructs. : Skills and Performance Dimensions:
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-site team environment is required. Customer relation skills a MUST since all upgrades are on live customer networks on their premises. Able to handle compressed schedules and high stress environment.
·Strong GSM BSS product knowledge with experience in routine maintenance and troubleshooting in the several of the following areas: Legacy OMCR, BSC "Including E3", TCU, BTS, GPRS troubleshooting.
·Well versed in the software loading for all sub-systems for upgrade and patching processes.
·The successful candidate should have above average skills in management of the OMCR, BSS maintenance |
