Alerts to cell phones. Users of the service can sign up to receive periodic text messages every
day, on a specific day, or when a chosen amount of snow falls. The application includes a wireless
web solution for users with web-enabled cell phones.
Using the wireless web, users can check
up-to-the-minute snow conditions, weather conditions, event info, and useful numbers that can
be dialed at the push of a button. Users with devices running the PalmOS can also access this
information by downloading a web-clipping application to their device.
Slice of Lime is a wireless design company specializing in creating practical applications for multiple wireless devices.
Its latest application, You’ve Got Snow, delivers snow data on ski resorts worldwide to cell phones, pagers, web-enabled cell phones,
and Palm OS devices. Palm has given “You’ve Got Snow” 5 stars, the highest rating for a web-clipping application.

To get the updates, people can visit the resort's website, www.skiwinterpark.com, go to "E-Snow Report" and click on
the link at the bottom of the page that enables them to sign up for cellphone updates. Updates are available once a
week, daily or by the amount of snowfall.

Slice of Lime continues to develop useful apps for the Wireless Web, Pocket PC, and Palm.
Palm soon will put the application on its Web site, making it simple for users to download the app.
