Aligo Introduces The M-1 Server Version 2.0

ALIGO'S ENHANCED 100% JAVA MOBILE APPLICATION SERVER ACCELERATES MOBILIZATION OF ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE

Officially released on June 20, 2001, Aligo's M-1 Server Version 2.0 eases customization, development, and deployment of J2EE Mobile Enterprise Applications.

M-1 Server version 2.0 transforms an enterprise's existing software infrastructure into a totally wireless enabled platform with enhanced capabilities. Enhancements to version 2.0 include a new architecture with flexible application design options, such as Mobile Java Server Pages (JSP), full control over UI design, a Device Profile Manager that intelligently tracks new devices and automatically updates mobile applications, multi-modal session manager, support for VoiceXML, in addition to a new Application Builder that provides a visual development environment.

To guarantee the optimal integration with a company's existing software environment, M-1 Server v2.0 comes with a fully configurable architecture providing the developer the ultimate control over both the application flow and presentation output. M-1 Server v2.0 provides developers the option to build presentation layer with either pure Java using Presentation Objects or XML based Mobile Java Server Pages, optimally separating Mobile Presentation from Mobile Application Logic Layers. Besides an enhanced Presentation Engine that can automatically render content on multiple mobile devices, M-1 Server also introduces the optional use of style sheets that provides developers the flexibility to override the presentation output using XSL on a device-by-device basis.

    The M-1 Server Offers:
  • 100% Java
  • Support for every device
  • A Stand alone server solution
  • Compatibility with existing enterprise applications
  • Existing software that extends J2EE
