pulver.com Study Finds Sprint PCS Most Likely to Meet E911 Deployment Deadline

MELVILLE, N.Y., April 26, 2001--pulver.com announced today the release of the Special Report on
Prospects for E911 Phase II Services in the USA. The report examines the major US wireless carriers' progress in deploying
phase II E911 (Enhanced 911) service. Sprint PCS (NYSE: PCS) appears in the best position of the five largest US national
wireless carriers to comply with the October 1, 2001 deadline and accuracy requirements set by the Federal Communications
Commission (FCC). The report also assesses progress of AT&T Wireless (NYSE: AWE), Cingular Wireless (NYSE: SBC),
Nextel Communications (NASDAQ: NXTL), and Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) in complying with the FCC's E911 mandate.
"This study paints a great picture of where the big carriers currently are on E911 rollout," said Jeff Pulver, the CEO and
