SAN MATEO, Calif. - April 27, 2001 - AvantGo, Inc. (Nasdaq: AVGO),
the leading provider of mobile infrastructure software and services, today
announced that it is now providing one-stop Wireless Solutions for
individuals to purchase wireless service and hardware directly from the
AvantGo website. AvantGo's Wireless Solutions make it easier for
individuals to go wireless by simplifying the complex process of choosing
appropriate hardware and wireless services. With the most comprehensive and
user-friendly shopping "wizard" for mobile products, AvantGo users can
quickly and easily determine which mobile options are right for them, based
on where they live, how much they travel, what their budget is and what
hardware and wireless services they might already utilize.
Working in partnership with AvantGo, Sundial Marketplace Corporation
is providing the configuration engine, product and service inventory and
backend fulfillment. Wireless solutions include CDPD modems, dual
versatility mobile phones and serial cables, as well as wireless service
from leading service providers, including AT&T Wireless, Cingular, Sprint
PCS, Verizon Wireless and Voicestream.
"Sundial is excited to work with AvantGo to provision and configure mobile
device wireless solutions," said Jonathan Koch, President and CEO of Sundial
Marketplace Corporation. "AvantGo's leading mobile infrastructure and

individuals and enterprise customers with complete turnkey solutions."
Wireless device users can access the AvantGo mobile Internet service
wirelessly when they need real-time information such as flight updates,
e-mail, stock quotes, directions or maps, or they can wirelessly synchronize
information to their devices for offline use. They can also synchronize
their devices with their desktop PC, thereby having multiple connectivity
options and assuring that they have the right connection at the right time.
"Our goal with Wireless Solutions is to make it easy and convenient for
our 2.5 million AvantGo mobile Internet service users to go wireless," said
Mike Aufricht, general manager of AvantGo Mobile Internet. "By working with
Sundial to fulfill orders, we have created a new revenue stream for AvantGo
without having to take inventory risk or incur fulfillment costs. We are
now generating incremental revenue while continuing to focus on our
expertise, which is software that delivers content and applications to
mobile devices."
