@Road Expands Distribution Channel with Addition of BearCom and Day Wireless Systems

FREMONT, Calif., May 10, 2001--
Wireless Dealers to Market @Road LocationSmart(TM) Mobile Resource Management Services
@Road(SM) (Nasdaq:ARDI), a leading provider of location-enhanced wireless Internet services
for mobile resource management (MRM), today announced that BearCom and Day Wireless
Systems have become authorized agents for @Road.
The two companies, dealers of wireless communications products and services, plan to sell
@Road LocationSmart mobile resource management services at their respective retail outlets
throughout the United States.
BearCom and Day Wireless Systems are each among the country's largest wireless
communications dealers. BearCom, with headquarters in Dallas, operates 47 retail locations in the
United States and Day Wireless Systems, based in Milwaukie, Ore., has more than 40 sales and
service centers throughout California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
