affordable price,"
said Masahiro Inoue, president and CEO of Kyocera Wireless Corp. "The Kyocera 2135 is our answer to
the demand
we've received from customers and carriers alike. With this phone's improved ergonomics and expanded
features, we
believe Kyocera has once again raised the bar for others in this category."
The Kyocera 2135 is a tri-mode CDMA handset, using CDMA PCS (1900 MHz), CDMA cellular (800
MHz), and analog
(800 MHz AMPS) technologies. The phone features a 5-line, full bit-map display and a 4-way navigation
key for easy
menu access. It measures approximately 5.1 x 1.9 x 1.0 inches and weighs approximately 4.5 ounces. A
lithium-ion
battery provides up to 4 hours of talk time or up to 6.25 days of standby time in digital mode.
Available accessories will include both portable and installed hands-free car kits; chargers for auto, travel
and desktop
use; data connectivity kits for personal computers and Palm PDAs; and a leather case.
