BroadCloud's New SURE connect Platform for Pocket PCs Brings Reliability, Speed and Greater Capacity for Wireless Computing

AUSTIN, Texas, July 3, 2001--BroadCloud Communications Inc., a leading provider of solutions
that enhance the reliability and speed of wireless data connections, today announced the availability of SURE connect(SM) for
Pocket PCs including Compaq's iPaq , Hewlett-Packard's Jornada and Casio's Cassiopeia.
SURE connect dramatically improves the reliability, speed and capacity of wireless Internet connections to increase
workforce productivity, enhance competitive advantage and reduce wireless costs. SURE connect is the first solution that
transparently and cost-effectively delivers a complete wireless experience for laptops and Pocket PCs. The result is a wireless
data connection that is up to 5 times more reliable and 10 times faster than existing connections utilizing 75 percent less
bandwidth.

wireless packet data networks including existing networks such as CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data) and future networks
like GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), W-CDMA and other PCS data services. Auto-installing software is available via
