OSK and WIDCOMM Join Forces to Advance Bluetooth Wireless Networking in Japan

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2001--WIDCOMM Inc., a world leader in Bluetooth software and networking
solutions, and Oki Software Co., Ltd., known as OSK, a leading provider of custom software development and consulting
services in Japan, today announced an alliance to drive the development of customized Bluetooth wireless solutions throughout
Japan. Under the terms of the agreement, OSK will become the first authorized design center in Japan for WIDCOMM's leading
Bluetooth software and protocol stack.
Enterprise customers throughout Japan will benefit from the combined expertise of two experienced teams. OSK will provide
specialized custom software development, engineering consulting and technical support services to support WIDCOMM
products. WIDCOMM's Bluetooth hardware and software solutions include BTE, (Bluetooth Communications Software Solutions
for Embedded Systems), BTW (Bluetooth Communications Software for Windows), BTW-CE (Bluetooth Communications
Software for WinCE), and the BlueGate family of network access solutions.
