URL(s): iDial Networks
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 26, 2001--iDial Networks, Inc., (OTCBB:IDNW)
(http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=idnw.ob&d=t) today announced the first phone to phone network access service for
Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) Windows CE devices.
Access to iDial's Network may be accomplished with Windows CE devices through wired or wireless network offerings
from companies such as Compaq (NYSE:CPQ), Omnisky (Nasdaq:OMNY), ATT Wireless (NYSE:AWE), and Sprint PCS
(NYSE:PCS).
iDial's Windows CE enabled service enables users of Windows CE devices worldwide immediate access to iDial's
low cost international network from their CE Device. Phone to phone calls may be placed over iDial's network by
instructing iDial's network to place the call from the Windows CE device by logging into our communications portal
located at https://www.netphonecard.com/ppc/home_ppc.asp with the Windows CE device. The resulting phone to phone
call is then placed between any two phones worldwide.
To support the introduction of the new wireless product, beginning in August iDial will launch a flat rate program for all
calls originating and terminating in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, The Netherlands,
Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. This flat rate program will represent a savings of up to 90% over existing rates in
Europe between these countries where the current rate can be as high as $2.00 per minute between these countries from
the local PTT.
iDial Networks currently offers wireless access to it's network for phone to phone calls from Palm Compatible devices
from Palm (Nasdaq:PALM) and Handspring (Nasdaq:HAND) and from its WAPConnect Portal located at
wap.netphonecard.com for WAP enabled devices from companies such as Motorola (NYSE:MOT), Nokia (NYSE:NOK),
Sprint PCS, Sony (NYSE:SNE), ATT Wireless Service , Qualcom (Nasdaq:QCOM), Audiovox (Nasdaq:VOXX), Ericsson
(Nasdaq:ERICY), Hitachi (NYSE:HIT), Philips (NYSE:PHG), and Alcatel (NYSE:ALA).
