BarPoint Shopper Service Now Available To Cingular Wireless Customers With Wireless Internet

today announced that BarPoint's product and shopping information service, the BarPoint Shopper(TM), is now available
on the shopping menu to all users of the Cingular Wireless Internet service.
Cingular Wireless customers can benefit from BarPoint's service when needed most - at the point of purchase - by
getting product-specific information in seconds to help them make quicker, smarter shopping decisions. This information
includes detailed product descriptions, comparative prices, links to order the product from vendor partners, product
reviews, manufacturer contact information and much more. BarPoint uses patent-pending reverse-search technology to
provide direct access to detailed product information by simply entering a product's UPC barcode number. Although
keyword searches are supported through the BarPoint service, the UPC-based search is a more intuitive process on the
phone and much simpler than entering text.
