NEW YORK- Aug. 2, 2001--MG Financial Group, New York, the U.S.' leading online foreign currency
trading firm, announced today that it has introduced a brand new wireless trading platform whereby clients can trade foreign
currencies through their wireless hand held cellular phones.
Wireless Web trading allows traders to connect to MG Financial Group's proprietary trading platform, Deal Station 2000.
Essentially, using a cell phone, clients can access the company's web site, wap.mgforex.com and login, browse company
information, review the latest news, check rates, place orders, and monitor account status.
"Advances in technology have enabled us to provide this service to our clients," said Jonathan Ziegel, Director of Marketing and
Public Relations, MG Financial Group. "We're glad to be a part of the wireless evolution that brings more prospects to our clients.
Knowledge inherently lowers risk."
Ziegel added that the system is completely secure. MG Financial Group uses WAP Security Protocol to safeguard each trade
made through the system. He said that the Security Socket Layer (SSL), used by the Company, is also utilized by major institutions
to make credit card payments, banking transfers, etc., making it is one of the safest and most secure systems in existence today.
MG Financial Group's Wireless Web is fast and can keep traders connected to the forex market 24 hours a day, seven days a
week and from anywhere around the world.
Ziegel said that with economic and currency news occurring spontaneously around the world, this is a major service that MG
Financial Group is offering its clients to help them make immediate, better informed trades.
During the past 18 months, MG Financial Group has introduced many products and services to help educate and improve the
trading decisions of their clients. Recently, the company began offering its clients two new trading platforms, LITE and Windows, in
addition to its Java-based platform. The Company is the only forex trading firm today offering three distinct platforms tailored to
one's individual trading needs.
Additional new items include a wireless alert system, located at www.alertfx.com, to keep traders connected to the forex market
24 hours per day, and an enhanced news website to provide traders with educational and timely elements including Fundamental and
