GoAmerica Announces Agreement With America Online to Offer AOL Mobile Service Via Go.Web

HACKENSACK, N.J., Aug. 15, 2001-- Agreement Extends America Online's Content and Services to GoAmerica's Award-Winning Mobile Office Service and to WyndTell Customers who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing GoAmerica, Inc. (Nasdaq:GOAM), a leading nationwide provider of wireless data and Internet solutions for the enterprise, today announced an agreement with America Online, the world's leading interactive services company, that will utilize GoAmerica's Go.Web(TM) technology to deliver the AOL Mobile Service(SM) to GoAmerica's wireless Internet users.

GoAmerica's Award Winning Mobile Office Offers AOL Mobile Service To Its Subscribers

With today's announcement, the Go.Web service will include wireless access to the AOL Mobile Service for GoAmerica's users, giving them the ability to access AOL content and services. Users can access the AOL Mobile Service through the home page of GoAmerica's Go.Web service, or by going to mobile.aol.com. The AOL Mobile Service includes news, weather, stock quotes and other content from AOL Time Warner properties such as CNN, Digital City, MapQuest, and PEOPLE and FORTUNE magazines. Recent enhancements to the service include a shopping channel with leading content from eBay, as well as content from partner Travelocity in the Travel Channel and Qsent in the Travel and Local Channels, and Ngame in the Entertainment Channel. GoAmerica users who are AOL members will also be able to send and receive e-mail over their wireless device.

Agreement Extends to Wynd Customers Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

As part of the agreement, the companies will also make the AOL Mobile Service available to the customers of Wynd Communications Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of GoAmerica. Wynd's award winning WyndTell service, designed specifically for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, will now include a customized "home page" viewed through Go.Web that will enable access to AOL content and services. Additionally, through the agreement, the companies have committed to exploring methods to extend the popular AOL Instant Messenger(SM) service to Wynd's customers.

Pricing and Availability

For Wynd customers, Go.Web is available for $9.95 per month as an option to a new or existing WyndTell Power Plan. For GoAmerica subscribers, the Go.Web service is available to customers who use Research in Motion (RIM), Palm or PocketPC wireless handhelds with service pricing starting at $9.99 per month. There are no additional charges for using the AOL Mobile service.
