Voice and Wireless Commences Production of the Voice and Wireless Earbud

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 16, 2001--Voice and Wireless Corporation (OTC BB:VWLC), a
leading provider of voice and wireless comprehensive solutions, today announced that the last component necessary
for production, the battery contacts, for the Voice and Wireless Earbud(TM) have arrived. The Company will now
commence assembly, testing, and initial order fulfillment.
As previously announced on July 17th, pre-orders are continuing at a vigorous pace.
