YourMobile Networks Partners With Fanscape

YourMobile to Provide Wireless Media Production and Marketing
Services to Fanscape Clients Such as Weezer, Lit, Eve 6, Smash
Mouth, 311, Sheryl Crow, Jurassic 5, many others
YourMobile Networks, the leading global wireless multimedia platform provider, today announced that it has partnered with music marketing
company Fanscape to produce, package, and deliver wireless media for Fanscape's roster of recording artist clients.
Fanscape clients will take advantage of YourMobile's marketing capabilities, which include international distribution of SMS messages, ringtones and
phone graphics over all major wireless networks to any wireless-enabled device. The partnership marks the first U.S. deal for an artist management
company to promote its client base worldwide via wireless media.
Bryan Biniak, chief operating officer, YourMobile Networks, said: "The multi-billion-dollar mobile media market has finally arrived in the U.S., with
music fans as the driving force behind its rapid adoption. The wireless data services market will serve as a leading channel for labels to introduce an
array of profitable products and services, and a more personal means for artists to communicate with their fans."
Fanscape chief executive officer, Larry Weintraub agreed, "Fanscape makes a direct connection between music artists and their fans. By partnering
with YourMobile, we're extending that connection beyond the street and beyond the Internet."
Fanscape's deal with YourMobile includes the development of a host of wireless products and services, including wireless messaging to alert fans to
the latest artist news, wireless fan clubs, and ringtones and graphic logos from favorite recording artists that fans can use to personalize their mobile
devices.
YourMobile will feature Fanscape recording artists and free promotional ringtones from their songs on YourMobile sites worldwide. Fanscape
wireless media will also be distributed through YourMobile's telecommunications partners worldwide, including Cingular in the United States, Fido in
Canada and British Telecom in the United Kingdom, among others.
Fanscape was founded in 1998 to address an emerging music marketing niche, directly connecting artists to their fans by supporting a "one-to-one"
relationship through fan base mailing lists, Internet-based grass roots marketing, artist Web site branding, targeted e-mail, on-line and off-line street team
coordination, and sponsorship opportunities.
The management company represents leading artists and labels, including Lit and The Calling with RCA Records; Smash Mouth (Interscope
Records); Sum 41 and American Hi-Fi with Island/Def-Jam; Jimmy Eat World (Dreamworks); Sheryl Crow (A&M/Interscope); Tori Amos (Atlantic
Records); and others. Fanscape also represents music publishers including Aces & Eights, Rock City Recordings and Silverline Records.
Fanscape's partnership with YourMobile is a natural fit in using wireless for the promotion of recording artists because of the youth demographic's
rapid adoption of the technology, and wireless's delivery of timely, relevant, targeted information to devices that are personalizable and closely held.
In addition to YourMobile.com sites, YourMobile wireless media is internationally distributed via its white label service partners, which include many
of the world's leading wireless and media companies. In August 2001, YourMobile launched a ringtone campaign in the U.K. to promote Blink 182's
newest album, "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket."
The free ringtone, limited to 5,000 downloads, ran out within 48 hours. YourMobile has also successfully launched promotional wireless campaigns
for U2, the "Final Fantasy" film, MTV, Nintendo, Sega and Kellogg's to directly target fans and the youth market.
