Andrew Seybold's Outlook 4Mobility Publishes Mobiltorial on International 3G Wireless

LOS GATOS, Calif -- Andrew Seybold's Outlook 4Mobility has published a far-reaching special report on third-generation wireless network implementation in the United States, Europe and the Far East that finds South Korea to be the first country to roll out an operational true 3G network, the Japanese deployment confronted by problems, the once-promising European effort now lagging seriously, and the United States moving toward a leadership position with entries from multiple players.

On page 8, for example, the report states, "By the time Europe joins the 3G world in a few years, the United States will have had several systems up and running and will be ahead of the learning curve when it comes to what types of information access are important to users and how much they will pay for it."

According to Outlook 4Mobility President Andrew M. Seybold, the report is a compendium of information from an array of reliable international sources, to which Outlook 4Mobility staff have added their own unique analysis, knowledge and perspective.

"It is concentrated market and product intelligence that needs no further extrapolation," Seybold said.

"The analyses are clear, the facts stand out prominently, and the information is supported by easy-to-understand charts and comparison graphics. Stakeholders in the 3G Universe can save weeks of valuable research time immediately, and they can go back to the document as a checkpoint as they proceed toward their individual objectives."

Titled "U.S. Passes Europe on the 3G Highway," the 40-plus-page document is a comparative review of activities by all significant players in countries where third-generation wireless network initiatives are in the works.

It can be purchased immediately on the Web in three different forms and prices: a single-bound paper copy shipped first class mail within the United States is priced at $499; a single-site electronic license, which includes a downloadable PDF file and a bound copy shipped first class, at $999; a corporate worldwide license, which also includes a downloadable PDF file and a bound copy, at $2,499.

"The chief criteria for our Mobiltorials are that they be of critical importance to members of the industry and that they interpret prevailing situations and events quickly, comprehensively, objectively and without hyperbole or promotional spin," Seybold said. "We feel that this first in our series has established a level of excellence to live up to in the future."

Among the subjects covered in chapters of the report are the changing 3G landscape; the implications of recent market changes; "A Dose of Reality;" "3G Wars;" "One at a Time," a section that examines the efforts and intentions of individual companies; "3G Early Adopters;" and a summary chapter, "What Does It All Mean?"

Seybold said that the company plans to issue its Mobiltorial Series at an unscheduled rate of about one per quarter.
