today announced that Vytek has acquired Planet Technology Solutions
Inc., of Parsippany, N.J., a leading mobile computing, Internet and
networking services company, establishing Vytek as a global wireless
systems integrator and alternative to the fragmented array of wireless
products and services currently available to businesses and governments.

of Oakland, Calif., was acquired by Vytek in February 2001. The Planet
acquisition closed in late July.
