Invertix Launches Global Alliance Program - Recruits partners for new strategic initiative at CTIA Wireless I.T., San Diego -

URL(s): invertix.com

Alexandria, VA - September 7, 2001 - Invertix Corporation, the leader in wireless multimedia messaging, today announced the launch of its global alliance program to facilitate permission-based access to wireless subscribers by Internet-based software applications and content providers.

The program, which utilizes the company's award-winning IM-Anywhere platform, allows partner companies to deliver rich content directly to wireless subscribers using SMS and wireless instant messaging rather than WAP. Members of the alliance program can access wireless presence and location information, as well as message delivery services, under strict compliance with subscriber permissions and wireless network operator privacy policies.

Under the terms of the alliance program, Invertix will partner with location-based services providers, enterprise application developers, online advertisers and mobile commerce aggregators to develop targeted mobile solutions.

Invertix will offer selected partners a free Software Development Kit (SDK) containing an Application Program Interface (API) for Windows, Java and XML, as well as Web access to the API Application Test Bed. The program will also provide integrated marketing opportunities and sales and technical support.

"With the low consumer acceptance of WAP, companies offering rich content will turn to our messaging platform to reach wireless subscribers," said Suresh Bhandari, Director of Marketing and Manager of the alliance program at Invertix. "We provide a secure, approved portal into the wireless network itself."

Invertix will showcase the IM-Anywhere product at the CTIA Wireless I.T. & Internet 2001 conference from September 12 - 13, 2001. Invertix will host prospective partners at booth #1531 in Hall F of the San Diego Convention Center to discuss how they can jointly develop and market compelling, revenue generating messaging solutions. For more information, contact Invertix via email at alliance@invertix.com or visit www.invertix.com/alliances.html.
