Microsoft Welcomes World's First Provider of Wireless Personalized Audio Streaming to Their Mobile Solutions Partner Program: MobileBriefs

- NAB 2001 -- After months of development and testing, MobileBriefs announced the immediate
commercial licensing availability of its wireless Personalized Audio Broadcasting (PAB) mobile audio technology and also announced today that it has formally joined the
Microsoft Mobile Solutions Partner Program.
Users now have the ability to both create and receive their personalized audio show, which they can listen to (or read via ebook format) while on the go! This highly personalized
technology is the first of its kind to give any user ultimate control while in transit. Whether a user wants the latest news within their trade industry or job function or top
audiobooks, MobileBriefs Personalized Audio Broadcast (PAB) can deliver to their exact preferences, even lasting the exact length of their commute or travel time.
The user's personalized show can be accessed by a variety of methods. Wireless streaming of their personalized show is now fully optimized for the vast majority of mobile
devices to include Microsoft's own PocketPC platform. All PocketPC-based devices (i.e. Compaq iPAQ, HP Jornada, Casio Cassiopeia, etc) can access the streamed content
over a wide variety of 2.5G and 3G systems to include GPRS, CDMA2000 and WCDMA. Users without wireless access or where coverage is unavailable (subways, trains, and
planes) may also perform a traditional synchronization to automatically receive their show in advance.
