Announcing The Oxygen SMS Gateway

Oxygen Software Company (http://www.oxygensoftware.com/) has released version 1.0 of Oxygen SMS Gateway, a PC-based software to organize uninterrupted communication between people regardless of the service used.
Communication services range is widening every day. People use e-mail, SMS, ICQ, AOL messenger etc. All these services were created to improve accessibility and speedup communication for those who need to be permanently online. There are many unidirectional gateway products that can forward e-mail messages to mobile phones via SMS service, but there is no software allowing uninterrupted and bidirectional communication between people.
Oxygen SMS Gateway – the product of the Oxygen Software Company – solves this task. It has a number of unique functions, which are not implemented all together in any other similar software. Current version supports two services: SMS and e-mail. It means that people having at least one of these services can send messages to each other, reply to the messages and so on.
The main goal of Oxygen SMS Gateway is organization of intercompany communication. Using this product all the company employees become accessible wherever they are.
The following small example shows all the Oxygen SMS Gateway advantages. John and Bruce are colleagues. They need to be permanently online. Each one has a e-mail account in their company office and a GSM phone. John writes urgent e-mail to Bruce but he doesn't know that Bruce just went away to a business trip. No problem. Oxygen SMS Gateway leaves this message in the Bruce's mailbox and duplicates it to Bruce's GSM phone using SMS service. Bruce receives this message in 5-10 seconds and, if the message requires immediate response, replies using either his phone or Oxygen SMS Manager, the most powerful and convenient PC utility to organize fully functional mail system based on SMS messages in your mobile phone. Oxygen SMS Gateway receives Bruce's reply and redirects it to John's e-mail. It also can copy this message to John's mobile phone too if needed.
Among extra features must be mentioned easy program tuning with Gateway Administrator utility that allows to manage users’ preferences: e-mail account, mobile phone numbers, SMS center number, active services for specific user, how many SMS messages the user is allowed to receive.
