Leading Wireless Investors to Present At Wireless Fall 2001 Seminar in New York

NEW YORK, Sep 27, 2001 - The Swedish Consulate General in New York and Courtney Pulitzer Creations today jointly announced that they will be presenting a
high-level panel discussion on what companies and technologies are getting funded in the wireless space. Taking place on Thursday October 4th at 3:30 pm, BrainHeart Capital investment
manager Sigrun Hjelmquist and Vantage Point Venture Partners partner Ken Kharbanda will lead as speakers in the Stardust Circle Wireless Seminar - Fall 2001 in New York City. Also
participating in the panel discussions, themed "Wireless, what is still getting funded -- and why," are Gartner Group's senior analyst Tole Hart and an entrepreneur from a wireless company.
Moderating the panel will be Unstrung senior editor Josh Newman.
The wireless industry has been fast becoming the sexy new area of focus for investment, development and exploration. And yet, with all the hype and news that's been published about this
burgeoning industry, what is the true status of the wireless industry today? Some claim it is over-hyped. Some believe this is just the beginning and wireless will change the world as we know
it. To explore and learn about true current and future development in this exciting generation of the Internet, the panel of experts will discuss what next generation firms have been funded and
why, and what sort of technologies can expect to get funding in the future.
BrainHeart Capital is one of the world's largest industrial venture capital funds dedicated to investments in the wireless sector. Ken Kharbanda has extensive background in next-generation
service providers and related communications equipment companies, which is one of his areas of focus at VantagePoint. VantagePoint Venture Partners is one of the world's largest and most
active early stage venture capital firms with more than $2.5 billion in capital under management. Josh Newman is known for his strong opinions and leading knowledge in the wireless space, as
can be viewed daily at Unstrung.com's Web site. Unstrung is known for its irreverent angle and analysis on emerging technologies.
Immediately following the presentations, the panel will open up for discussions with the high-level forty guest investors, analysts and media professionals.
Held at the Swedish Consul General's residence on Park Avenue in New York City, this exclusive, focused afternoon of discussions and networking promises to satiate questions and curiosity of
