Comverse Selected By Mexico's Leading Wireless Operator, Telcel, To Provide Short Message Service

multimedia enhanced communications services, today announced that Telcel, the leading wireless operator in
Mexico, has selected Comverse for its Intelligent Short Message Service Center (ISMSC).
Comverse's ISMSC is an open, ultra-high capacity short message service platform that provides
scalability, full IP connectivity, GPRS support and is well prepared for the migration to 3G. The ISMSC
open interface, Open.SMS, supports WML-based, interactive applications on any 2G SMS-capable
phones.
