iConverse announces support for Microsoft windows-powered Pocket PC 2002 software platform

Waltham, Mass.—October 4, 2001— iConverse, a leading mobile application platform provider, today announced its support for Microsoft’s newly unveiled Pocket PC 2002 software platform. The current version of the iConverse Mobility Platform offers enterprises the ability to create and deploy mobile business applications for devices that run the Pocket PC 2002 software, including the Casio Cassiopeia, Compaq iPaq and the HP Jornada. iConverse will continue to fine-tune its support of the latest iteration of the Pocket PC software, adding the newest functionality of the 2002 version to the next release of the iConverse Mobility Platform, due out by year’s end.
