URL(s): www.kyocera-wireless.com; www.n2epower.com
HOUSTON, Oct. 4, 2001--E-Power International Inc. (EPWI) (www.n2epower.com), a diversified manufacturing and
service company announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, GPS Worldwide has expanded its Houston facilities to accommodate the need
to service and provide information to Public Safety and Government entities needing the latest in GPS technology for vehicles and mobile utility units.
The hotline, 281/219-0433 will be answered 24 hours by 7 days a week as a part of the commitments being made by the sales and service
personnel.
"Our GPS Tracking service is a combination of the best network participants, wireless GPS device technologies and expert call center staffing,"
says Mark McCollum, CEO of E-Power International. "This world is not the same place as it was 30 days ago. Our local, county and state public
safety efforts need the private sector technology service and support."
"The GPS Worldwide Technology is easy to use and quick to install. Another key benefit with this particular GPS technology is that it is cheap and
very adaptable to interfacing with current safety systems using standard communications protocols and Internet connectivity. Our secured Web-based
interface allows the dispatcher to use a dedicated tracking scenario or an integrated data and map component integrated into existing applications as a
plug-in.... Additional features allow tracking and control of the vehicle from wireless enabled PDAs such as the Kyocera Palm Pilot Phone which
operates over the SprintPCS network."
GPS WorldWide expects the demand for this product to be huge and fortunately, we are prepared to meet the demand and the service
expectations. When installed, the integrated locating device is capable of immobilizing the mobile asset as well as giving many users authorized access
to tracking it over the Internet. Furthermore, the management team is requesting that anyone who would like to become affiliated with E-Power and
this technology, to please call 281/219-0433.
