Wireless Application Developers Workshop to be Held At the 2001 CDMA Americas Congress

WHO: Hosted by the CDMA Development Group (CDG) (www.cdg.org),
the Wireless Application Developers Workshop will feature
participants from leading wireless companies including
Bell Mobility, Ericsson, LG Infocomm, Lucent Technologies,
Motorola, Nokia, Nortel Networks, Openwave, Pixo,
QUALCOMM, and Sierra Wireless. A pre-conference workshop
for the 2001 CDMA Americas Congress, this event will
feature perspectives on developing applications for 2G and
3G CDMA from key members of the mobile value chain
including wireless operators, wireless infrastructure
manufacturers, wireless device manufacturers and platform
providers.
WHAT: The wireless Internet will be driven by applications,
and wireless players are turning to content developers to
create innovative, revenue-generating applications.
Attendees will learn how to develop "killer" applications
for 2G and 3G CDMA using J2ME, BREW, WAP, HTML and other
