HiT Software Joins the PointBase Partner Program

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 16, 2001--PointBase Inc., the leader in Java database
technology for managing and synchronizing enterprise data among servers, Internet appliances, mobile and pervasive
computing devices announced today that HiT Software has joined their onPoint partner program as an onPoint Software
member. HiT Software is a leading developer of standards-based infrastructure for relational database access. The PointBase
data management technology and HiT Software's Allora product together offers customers a solution that transforms relational
data into any XML format.
