Pumatech, Inc. (NASDAQ:PUMA), the leading provider of software infrastructure for the mobile Internet, today

addition to providing corporations with remote and LAN-based synchronization between Palm OS(R) handhelds and the
Lotus Domino R5 groupware server application, Version 2.0 extends device support to Pocket PC handhelds. The software
also allows for mobile notifications to pagers and SMS-capable cell phones whenever a user receives a new e-mail from
pre-specified individuals or has new calendar items added. In addition, Version 2.0 provides access to synchronized data
remotely from any WAP-enabled phone or HTML browser. Intellisync Anywhere allows mobile professionals to be kept up
to date on changes to important information, and to access server-based calendar, e-mail and to-do information while at
their desks, on the road or just in the office down the hall.
Additional information for Intellisync Anywhere 2.0 for Lotus Domino R5 is available from the Pumatech Services Web
site at www.pumatechservices.com. The Intellisync Anywhere 2.0 for Lotus Domino R5 solution, which includes the
Intellisync Anywhere Server, Desktop, Mobile Client, and Admin modules, is priced on a per-user basis varying with
volume (for example, $120 per user at a 100-user level).
"We believe that providing enterprise users with wireless access to their important business and personal information is
critical, regardless of their groupware platform or mobile device. By extending our support to Pocket PC devices, we are
allowing a greater number of mobile professionals to take advantage of our popular synchronization technology," said Brad
Rowe, Pumatech president, CEO, and co-founder. "Moreover, we have witnessed the enthusiasm in the market for the
increased functionality that Lotus Notes R5 offers corporations, and wanted to support those users with our offerings as
well."
"Over the past year, we have been using Pumatech's Intellisync Anywhere for Lotus Domino throughout our company.
The ability to synchronize our handheld devices with Notes email and calendar appointments has given our employees the
tools they need to remain up-to-date throughout the day in regards to their critical contact and schedule changes," said
Michael O'Toole, area manager - messaging services for Kemper Technology Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of
Kemper Insurance Corporation. "With our employees increasingly conducting business on the road, we are looking forward
to the release of Intellisync Anywhere for Lotus Domino R5 that will provide them with access to critical data from any
location and in turn provide our customers with more value."
