PTN Media, Inc. and JAVA-X Sign Agreement To Develop Wireless Applications


ANN ARBOR, Mich., Apr 11, 2002 - PTN MEDIA, INC. (OTCBB:PTNM), a leading developer branded handheld products, and Java-X Inc. today announced an agreement to develop games and other applications for Java enabled devices such as the Motorola series of iDen phones and the RIM Blackberry.

PTN Media is the developer and marker of the Michael Jordan Edition of the Palm handheld. PTN also created the Claudia Schiffer edition of the Palm. PTN also has agreements with recording artists Nelly and Christina Aguilera to develop certain mobile phones and mobile phone applications.

Java-x is the developer of J-Pod, the first multiplayer wireless gaming community platform in North America, and several wireless enterprise systems for the next generation of Java enabled phones and devices. "We are very excited to be working with Java-X to exploit the licenses that we have in the areas of mobile communication. This agreement should allow us to offer customers exciting applications featuring some of our licenses," said Peter Klamka, President of PTN Media, Inc.
