PIXXURES AND MAPORAMA PARTNER TO COMBINE FEATURE-RICH LOCATION-CENTRIC SERVICES

Partnership Includes Major Initiative to Expand Pixxures' Online Image Library in the U.K. and Europe
Denver, Colorado and Paris, France, April 15, 2002 - Pixxures, Inc., the leading
online mapping services company, today announced a strategic partnership with
Maporama, a leading provider of online location-centric solutions. Under the terms of
this agreement, Pixxures will incorporate Maporama's worldwide street maps, driving
directions and Location Based Services (LBS) into the existing array of online services
Pixxures provides to its customers. In addition, Maporama has made Pixxures its imagery
provider for all of its global LBS services. Users worldwide will now be able to link
Maporama's LBS services and Pixxures' integrated imagery and mapping information
directly into their own Internet and intranet sites via Pixxures' dynamic and simple online
subscription services.

company in North America, it also provides us with a major partner in our efforts to
branch out into the U.K., European and Asian markets," said Larry Herd, Vice President

detailed street-level maps and integrated imagery of any U.S. address, complete with

robust platform from which to quickly expand this capability on a worldwide scale"
Pixxures offers its online subscription customers a broad spectrum of mapping
information, including digital aerial and satellite imagery, street maps, telecom
infrastructure information, and an assortment of other mapping data - all fully geo-
referenced and easily accessed in any combination and in any map projection on a
subscriber's desktop. The company also hosts customer mapping information in this same
environment to provide easy online access to all the mapping information a customer
uses. Pixxures currently houses more than 30 terabytes of imagery in its online library
and hosts hundreds of layers of vector mapping data on behalf of many of its customers.
The Maporama partnership continues Pixxures' efforts to enhance customer value by
combining additional web-based services in one commercial portal- both to Pixxures'
customers and to Maporama's customers. Pixxures will incorporate Maporama's
functionality on the pixxures.com Web site, as well as offer Maporama's clients imagery
to complement the company's online Services.
