ArrayComm and DynCorp Join to Deliver New Wireless Technologies to Government Customers
Powerful Mobile Voice and Data Solutions Will Target a Wide Range of Emergency Response, Contingency, and Information and Education Applications
SAN JOSE, Calif., and RESTON, Va., May 20, 2002 - ArrayComm, Inc., the world leader in adaptive smart antenna

company DynCorp, today announced an initial collaboration for bringing wireless data solution to U.S. government customers. DynCorp will utilize its systems
expertise to customize ArrayComm's smart antenna technology for government voice and data applications.

ArrayComm's IntelliCell(R) smart antenna technology uses a "personal cell" approach to the transmission of voice and data signals. Traditional cellular systems
broadcast to many users, thus wasting a considerable portion of system resources; with IntelliCell technology, a personal cell is set up for each user just for the
duration of the call, giving the user optimal performance and minimizing use of resources. Personal cells reduce interference, allow for wider coverage, improve
capacity, reduce transmit power, reduce costs and create clearer signals.
IntelliCell technology is the basis for the i-BURST(TM) system, ArrayComm's mobile broadband wireless Internet access system that enables high-bandwidth
ubiquitous coverage and capacity at a very low cost. The i-BURST system is an end-to-end IP environment that delivers data rates of 1 Mbps per user to
