Lifetree successfully secures EBPP for Orange India
New Delhi, 20th May’02: Lifetree Convergence Ltd., a new generation software solution company in the Wireless and Internet space has secured a significant order from Orange in India for its Electronic Bill Presentation and Payment (EBPP) solution “ZipBill”.
ZipBill will provide a complete solution for generating electronic bills for Orange's Prepaid & Post Paid subscribers in the Maharashtra circle. Lifetree bagged the order against stiff competition from leading EBPP vendors.
Mr. Atul Chopra, CEO Lifetree says, " This product has led to tremendous cost savings for our customers in sophisticated markets such as Europe and Asia Pacific" Lifetree’s ZipBill, a revenue generating EBPP solution, replaces legacy off-line Bill Presentment & Payment systems. It would benefit Orange in issuing repetitive bills/statements to their customers. The product would enable both offline and online Bill/Statement viewing besides the in-built Analysis engine to analyze bills in more than 21 ways, such as sorting or summarizing by date/time/ destination of a call. The look and feel would be totally customized and modified for the user, based on the customer profile. The Orange customers will have the flexibility to visit their mailbox save the bills along with the analysis engine on the desktop.
Another feature of the product is seamless integration with a service providers’ Short Messaging Service Centre (SMSC) to generate bill delivery and payment alerts. Mr. Niam Kazi , CTO, Lifetree Convergence Ltd. says, “This elegant end-to-end solution is rapidly deployable”.
ZipBill is an essential business tool for Telcos, Service Providers, Banks and Utilities, as it greatly reduces costs, ensures faster delivery and empowers the customers to get answers to queries.
