TELTIER AND SIEMENS PARTNER TO BRING INSTANT MOBILE COLLABORATION SOLUTIONS TO MOBILE NETWORK OPERATORS

Availability Management, with Instant Audio Conferencing and Call Management Features, will increase voice and data traffic throughout Europe

London, UK and Clark, New Jersey - May 28, 2002 - Teltier Technologies Inc., the leading provider of instant mobile collaboration solutions, today announced the signing of a letter of intent with Siemens Informatics and Italdata. Based on this, Siemens will resell Teltier’s iConnect™ solution and will establish iConnect Competency Centers for Europe. iConnect is an innovative instant mobile collaboration solution that combines voice and data communications with automated availability management features.

Siemens will integrate Teltier’s products with its current portfolio offering Mobile Network Operators a comprehensive solution stimulating voice and data traffic. Siemens will bring iConnect into several designated geographical markets including Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece and Turkey.

“There are several firsts that Teltier is bringing to the market with its iConnect solution which will undoubtedly enrich our current mobile offering and help carriers increase voice and data traffic. Teltier has uniquely combined availability management with call management and conferencing applications, resulting in a new breed of instant mobile collaboration solutions. We believe that the success rate of mobile voice calls will dramatically increase resulting in the data revenue associated with voice calls to increase. Subscribers will also benefit from their communications being far more productive. We are committed to this product and, through the iConnect Competency Centers, we will ensure that Siemens becomes a leading provider of these new types of instant mobile applications,” said Francesco Savino, Managing Director, Siemens Informatica S.p.A.

According to Sharad Sharma, CEO and co-founder of Teltier, “Realising that a Company with the credibility and worldwide standing of Siemens has chosen our iConnect instant mobile collaboration solution is reflective of our own belief that we are truly changing the playing field in the mobile collaboration and availability management market. We are excited to be working with Siemens to bring our products to the European market and we look forward to helping Mobile Network Operators differentiate their services and increase their revenues.”

Teltier’s iConnect solution includes:

Vistante™ - the only availability management platform that, based on patent-pending technology, intelligently interprets and enforces end-user availability based on the most comprehensive set of criteria: calendar events, network presence, subscriber preferences, previous behavior, location, mood, call status, device capabilities, network capabilities, IM presence, caller ID and application-type.

iConference™- a powerful instant mobile collaboration application that combines availability management and conferencing features resulting in the first true solution for ad-hoc voice conferences. Because callers know their colleague’s availability, impromptu conferences are now a reality.

CallerIQ™ - prompted by an incoming call, CallerIQ provides simple-to-use data menus for subscribers to better manage their incoming calls. Each voice call stimulates incremental SMS or GPRS data traffic, encouraging longer holding times and significantly increasing call termination.
