Kronofusion Technologies Participates in Global Partnership Walk, Raises $5000

Emerging wireless company's employees join forces help the less fortunate

Vancouver, BC, Canada; Berlin, Frankfurt, Germany - May 30, 2002 - Kronofusion Technologies Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange: KRO; Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: KFT, WKN: 541868), an emerging provider of wireless and web-based remote access solutions, is pleased to announce that the company and its employees raised $5000 for the World Partnership Walk, Canada's largest event in support of international development. The two-year old company was the only technology firm that participated in the Vancouver Walk as a company.

"Our employees are from all over the globe and participating in the Walk was a way for us to get together as a team and contribute to a very worthwhile cause," said Saurabh Abhyankar, President & CEO of Kronofusion Technologies. "As a company, we felt it was important to do something for the wider community and we were impressed with the work the Aga Khan Foundation is doing in Asia and Africa. We wanted to be a part of their efforts, and this was a great way to get involved. I am very proud of my team for making such a committed effort to fundraising and working so hard to build awareness of global poverty."

Employees at Kronofusion sought sponsors and pledges and walked the 7-kilometre route around the Sea Wall at Stanley Park on May 26th. The 18th annual WORLD PARTNERSHIP WALK raised an estimated $2.6 million across Canada and brought together tens of thousands of people in cities across the country to fight global poverty. The Walk, the largest event of its kind in Canada, raised 25 per cent more funds than last year and brought out record numbers of people from all walks of life in support of international development.
