Unifon Selects Tiaxa To Launch SMS Games For The 2002 World Cup Japan-Korea

Argentineans' Soccer Knowledge Will Be Tested By Tiaxa and SmallPlanet's SMS Games
MIAMI, May 31, 2002 - Tiaxa ( www.tiaxa.com), a leading provider of mobile applications and platforms for Latin
American mobile operators and corporations, and Unifon, a Telefonica Moviles company, announces the launch of SmallPlanet's wireless games for the 2002
World Cup Japan-Korea.
Unifon and Tiaxa signed an agreement to implement SmallPlanet's games. These mobile entertainment games, based on SMS technology, allow the user to
send short commands to respond to trivia questions in Fana-Trivia and Trivia- Mundial, as well as attempt to score goals in Golazo. The World Cup website
allows users to view points accumulated, player rankings, and to subscribe to receive real-time goals and World Cup content to their cellular phones.
The trivia games will test the Argentineans' knowledge of soccer and daily events at the 2002 World Cup. Golazo is an ability game, where users face different
game situations and have to shoot on goal to prove their soccer skills. Users will receive a daily alert of points accumulated throughout the day and the top
players will compete for prizes.
