CardonWare now available for the iPAQ 3800 series Pocket PCs

CARDONWARE ANNOUNCES ULTRAMOTE(tm) UNIVERSAL REMOTE SOFTWARE
IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR ipaq 3800 SERIES POCKET PCS
CardonWare, a Phoenix-based developer of software and technology for Pocket
PCs, today announced that its UltraMote(tm) universal remote software
program is now available for the iPAQ 3800 series Pocket PCs, the newest
version of the iPAQ series of handheld PCs. UltraMote uniquely lets users
create their own graphics for the application.
The iPAQ series is the best-selling Pocket PC, with more than a million
units sold to date. UltraMote also supports the iPAQ 3600 and 3700 series.
UltraMote combines the functions of audio and video device remote controls
into a single program that operates via the iPAQ's built-in infrared port.
UltraMote takes advantage of the more than 65,000 colors enabled by the 3700
series devices, allowing users to create custom "skins" or graphics for
their devices and activities. Or they can choose from a selection of
graphics provided with UltraMote.
The software supports most brands of televisions, VCRs, DVDs, stereo
receivers and home automation systems. UltraMote supports up to 10 device
screens for each of up to 10 different users and/or locations.
UltraMote remote control software is available at the UltraMote website,
www.ultramote.com. Pricing is $20 U.S., and there is a free 14-day trial
period available, for users to ensure compatibility with their audio/visual
equipment. The website also provides additional information, technical
support and suggestions for set-up and usage.
