PacketVideo Supports NTT DoCoMo, Inc. in Wireless LAN Trial Service for PDAs
Produces Video Content and Applications from Japanese and North American Partners
SAN DIEGO, Jun 17, 2002 - PacketVideo Japan Corp. today announced that the company is participating in NTT DoCoMo's wireless
LAN trial service, which is running in Tokyo from April 15, 2002 to June 30, 2002.
PacketVideo will provide the local video information and live streaming applications to the PDA users through NTT DoCoMo wireless LAN trial network.
PacketVideo supported the NTT DoCoMo service by helping to produce and integrate the contents and applications for the new NTT DoCoMo service through
PacketVideo's Global Developer Network. PacketVideo provided support for content development in conjunction with its application partners in Japan and
North America.

PacketVideo has provided the content that can be broadly divided into two areas: delivering information to local areas and video streaming.

create video mail on the PC and send to mobile devices; received messages can also be stored and forwarded to other devices.

-ORCA Vision's Service Area Information: Descriptions of hot spot locations
enhanced by video guides to certain facilities.
-Namco Limited's Jigsaw Puzzle: Fun flash-enabled jigsaw puzzles that turn into
streaming video when completed!
-AtomShockwave's Short Films Service: Sexy and quirky short films with Japanese
sub-titles.
-Tokyo Broadcasting System's News Service: Regularly updated Japanese domestic
news coverage.
-Sports Navigation's Amateur Sports Service: Video clips of soccer, skiing, etc.

-Nippon Television: Entertainment clips such as 3-minute cooking, etc.
-BitFlash, MTI's and Shobunnsha Publications, Inc. Service Area Maps: 2D SVG
(scalable vector graphic) maps of service area locations that allow users to zoom-in and out for easier navigation
