Rogers(TM) AT&T(R) Wireless Helps Keep Customers Entertained
--
TORONTO, Jan 17, 2002 -- It's Friday, 6:00 p.m. You're on your way home to a quiet night with a good movie and
your wireless phone rings. It's your old college roommate, he's in town for the night and he wants to get together. He's at the airport and he'll meet you
downtown in half an hour. Where are you going to go? Don't fear - just hop on line using your Rogers AT&T GSM/GPRS phone and check out what's
going on in the city tonight!
Rogers AT&T Wireless and its content providers have opened the doors to a world of entertainment service providers that make planning a night on
the town, a romantic dinner for two or a weekend getaway fast and easy. Customers will enjoy access to movie listings, restaurant reviews, interactive
games and much more - wherever they travel on the Rogers AT&T Wireless GSM/GPRS network. And, because this new, next-generation network
is now available to more than 85 per cent of the Canadian population, more people in more regions than ever before will have high-speed access to
valuable information and services.
"Each Rogers AT&T Wireless customer is unique. He or she uses their wireless phone for different reasons. When working with our content
providers, we kept these different needs in mind to ensure that our customers have access to the services they want - wherever they are, not only
where they work or live," said David Neale, Vice President, New Product Development, Rogers AT&T Wireless. "At Rogers AT&T Wireless we
are confident that extending this strong roster of content providers to our new GSM/GPRS network ensures that we are positioned to provide
Canadians in every region of the country with high-speed access to the services they need."
Following is a list of entertainment content providers available on the GSM/GPRS network:

Rogers AT&T Wireless is augmenting its existing national TDMA network by overlaying a GSM/GPRS network with integrated GPRS packet data
capability throughout its nationwide digital coverage area. GSM is the dominant world standard for Third Generation (3G) networks.
In July 2001, Rogers AT&T Wireless completed the installation of its GSM/GPRS wireless network in 25 of the largest markets across Canada. The
Company has already expanded the Rogers AT&T GSM/GPRS coverage to more than 85 per cent of Canada's population. By mid-2002, the Rogers
AT&T GSM/GPRS network will match the Company's extensive analog coverage of 93% of the Canadian population, providing Canadians with
access to "always on" GPRS wireless packet data service, along with GSM digital voice service, on a variety of integrated digital devices.
