Witnet Launches Mobilclick in Japan

TORONTO, Jun 24, 2002 - New Cinema Partners, Inc. (OTCBB: NCPP - news) (The "Company") today
that it has received a business report from Witnet indicating that it has launched its premier product, "Mobilclick" in Japan.
The product is being launched with hardware maker Compaq Japan. Compaq is the maker of the popular iPAQ Pocket PC which is one of the
platforms Mobilclick was designed for. Compaq is now adopting the technology for Japan. The product will be featured at the Expo Comm Wireless
Japan in Mid July.
Japan is an important market for Witnet, the adoption of Mobilclick in Japan is the first step in repeating the solution in major global markets in
Europe and in North America.
Mobilclick, one of the primary products of the Korean software developer Witnet allows control over internet-connected PCs through PDAs
(Personal Digital Assistants) that are connected to the wireless internet. This is a growing business area fueled by the convergence of technologies
and wireless network capabilities.
By applying thin computing solutions, users can run complex applications via PDA's while using only the minimum system resources of PDA's.
The Mobilclick product line has modules for specific enterprise solutions for construction and insurance industries for example as well as consumer
versions that will work in conjunction with an application service provider.
Witnet has three major business areas of mobile internet services development technologies. These include: i.) PDA Solution including a Wireless
Thin Computing Solution and a proprietary technology ("Mobilclick"). ii.) Wireless- Based System Integration including a Mobile Service Platform
and a Telematics Service Platform. iii.) XML Solutions including an XML-Based Platform Solution : W-CMS and an XML-Based Distribution
Solution : "X-Solomon"
New Cinema recently announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Witnet for stock. New Cinema expects to complete its due
diligence this week which would lead the way towards the Board of Directors of the Company to recommend the transaction to the Shareholders of
the Company however; there is no guarantee that New Cinema will be successful at completing the transaction.
Witnet was formed in November 1999 and currently has 32 employees and is headed by CEO Mum-Su Han along with a strong management team
comprised of talented professionals ( www.witnet21.com).
Business partners include Compaq Japan and Korea, LG Telecom and other major technology companies.
