Lifetree deploys Prepaid Solution for Airtel in four weeks
January 18, 2002, New Delhi: Lifetree Convergence Ltd., a new generation
software company has recently deployed Prepaid module of @Billity, a carrier-
class Customer Care and Billing system for Airtel, Shimla, the brand for Bharti
Telecom.
Lifetree's @Billity addresses all client-billing needs from Customer Acquisition to
General Ledger including prepaid. It completes the Billing package, which
obviates the need for purchasing multiple proprietary software. Mr. Atul
Chopra, CEO, Lifetree Convergence Pvt. Ltd. says, "The entire project was
completed in a record time of four weeks". @Billity is available in two different
versions. Lifetree implemented its software for Airtel for a complete Prepaid and
Customer Care. The Billing solution should ideally support creation and
management of customer accounts, development, pricing and provisioning of
various services, activity tracking, real-time rating and billing. The solution from
Lifetree includes - pre-paid subscriber rating, remotely recharging through IVR,
customer care & inventory management.
This modular and rapidly deployable product has been successfully running in
four other installations in India, Hong Kong and Madagascar.
