Nokia's Head of Games Moves To Cash-U
Graham Thomas is appointed Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Content
London, August 12: Cash-U Mobile Technologies (www.cash-u.com ), a world-leader in mobile entertainment standards and solutions, today announces the appointment of Graham Thomas as VP of Strategic Marketing and Content.
Graham joins after eight years at Nokia, where he founded and headed up the mobile games activity. As General Manager for Games, he was responsible for providing games and related services to all Nokia handsets and Club Nokia services worldwide. Graham was also one of the founders and Chairman of the Mobiles Games Interoperability Forum (www.mgif.org), which has been established to standardise key technologies that will accelerate the adoption of mobile games in the market.
Graham said: “I am very happy to be joining the Cash-U team, who I’ve known and appreciated over the last few years. Cash-U’s leading mobile entertainment solutions, blue-chip customer base and market position means that it will play a leading role in the mobile entertainment market”.
At Cash-U, Graham will be working with publishers and other key players across the mobile entertainment industry to enable them to deliver best-in-class content utilising Cash-U’s technology. Graham continued: “I believe the mobile gaming experience should be as interactive as possible. As such, it can be significantly enhanced through community features provided by the Cash-U platform, such as tournaments and multi-player games”.
