Vuico and jPIX to Deliver Wireless Solutions in Asia Pacific

Vuico and jPIX Launch GoWireless Applications for China, Taiwan and Hong Kong

HOUSTON & TOKYO, Aug 15, 2002 - Vuico, LLC, a Houston, Texas-based company, and jPIX Corporation, based in Tokyo, Japan, today announced they are joining forces to deliver advanced wireless applications to markets in the Asia Pacific region. These applications will give users access to corporate information, facilitate m-commerce and make the mobile phone an indispensable business tool.

Under the multi-million dollar, five-year distribution and sub-licensing agreement, jPIX will market Vuico's GoWireless(TM) technologies to wireless carriers and enterprise accounts in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong immediately.

Vuico also announced that it has expanded its agreement as the exclusive provider of NTT Software's advanced wireless Internet middleware beyond the Americas to include the Asia Pacific region and Europe.

Vuico's GoWireless(TM) products are based on NTT Software's Java-based BLUEGRID(TM) middleware, a reliable, market-proven platform from the world's leading provider of large-scale telecommunications systems and services. The first application jPIX will market is Vuico's GoWireless(TM) Mobile Messaging for Exchange 1.0 which allows carriers and their enterprise customers to give users quick access to email and calendar information on their corporate Microsoft Exchange network anywhere in the world.

Vuico's GoWireless(TM) technology supports the new generation of web-enabled smart phones, PDA's and wireless appliances with a high performance, very secure and pleasant mobile Internet computing experience. The GoWireless(TM) technology combined with Java-enabled devices will allow wireless carriers in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong to offer their subscribers advanced features and services such as video, voice commands and full-function groupware to enhance business and personal mobility and information access.
